Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison in Washington to coordinate care for complex patients requiring high-cost medications. You will partner with providers, clinical staff, insurance payers, and social services to ensure timely access and affordable treatment.

You will manage the intensive patient care process, act as the primary contact for patients with serious conditions such as transplant, HIV, multiple sclerosis, and cancer, and advocate for seamless care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• WA pharmacy technician licensure within 36 months; CPT-EXCPT or CPT-PTCB or CPHT.
• ASHP accredited program preferred; higher degrees welcome.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with providers, staff and payers for high-cost meds.
• Serve as primary contact for patients undergoing complex treatments.
• Bridge between providers, pharmacies, billing, social services and patients.
• Navigate insurance authorization processes with clinical coordination skills.
• Manage multi-stakeholder relationships to ensure positive patient outcomes.
