Job summary

Join CPS Solutions, LLC as a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison based at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. You will coordinate pharmacy services through the outpatient pharmacy, bridging patients, providers, and pharmacy under pharmacist supervision.

You will handle prior authorizations, assist with financial aid, update clinical data, and support administrative tasks, contributing to seamless care and access to therapies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Kentucky.
• Recent work experience as Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB or ExCPT preferred.
• Experience supporting clinical pharmacy programs and administrative tasks like prior authorizations and data entry.
• Solid knowledge of medication regimens and managed care practices.
• Proficient in pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Process prescription orders and enter data into pharmacy systems.
• Assist pharmacists and healthcare providers with information and workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate specialty medication prescriptions for complex conditions.
• Manage prior authorizations and insurance requirements with payers and providers.
• Coordinate patient onboarding and refills and ensure therapy adherence.
• Handle medication distribution logistics including cold-chain management.
• Maintain documentation and reporting meeting program requirements.
• Provide high-touch patient support and address non-clinical questions.
