Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison to coordinate pharmacy services for patients at Pikeville Medical Center, KY. You will work under a pharmacist to support prior authorizations, data entry, and patient access.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, KY Pharmacy Technician license, and recent technician experience. Mon-Fri, 8:30am–5pm with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Kentucky.
• Recent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Process prescription orders and enter data into pharmacy systems.
• Assist pharmacists and providers by gathering information and supporting workflow.
• Coordinate specialty prescriptions and prior authorizations.
• Manage insurance requirements and patient onboarding/refills.
