Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison to support communication with Specialty Pharmacies, educate on program-specific assistance, and navigate complex reimbursement issues.

The liaison will advise healthcare providers and patients on follow-up needs and lead cross-functional pilots and projects. The role requires an AA or equivalent and 2–4 years interacting with healthcare providers about health insurance plan requirements, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 to 4 years of experience interacting with healthcare providers regarding health insurance plan requirements.
• Computer skills Microsoft Office Suite.”

Responsibilities

• Manage questions and inquiries from the Specialty Pharmacies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Answers inbound calls and makes outbound calls to introduce services.
• Records the call details in patient data system.
• Handles difficult patient situations when they arise.
• Identify and report adverse events pursuant to program requirements
• Identify, document, and report safety information

Overview

The Specialty Pharmacy Liaison is responsible for the communication and follow-up of any prescription triaged to assigned Specialty Pharmacies. Liaison will provide education to the pharmacy regarding applying program specific assistance and navigate complex reimbursement issues. Liaison will advise the healthcare provider and/or patient of any follow-up needs. (i.e. prior authorizations). Liaison will help to identify patient access barriers and seek resources to overcome barriers. The liaison will lead and participate in pilots, new initiatives, special projects, and cross functional teams.

Pay Range: USD $23.11 - USD $28.89 /Hr.
