Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification required (PTCB or ExCPT).
• Active New Mexico Board of Pharmacy license as a pharmacy technician.
• Minimum two years of experience as a certified pharmacy technician.
• Basic pharmacy math, terminology, and dosage forms knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive benefit investigations and insurance eligibility verification for specialty meds.
• Coordinate prior authorizations, appeals and payer communications to enable access.
• Identify and secure financial assistance and patient support resources.
• Verify 340B eligibility and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Onboard patients to specialty medications and manage documentation and processing.
• Support disease-state therapy management and patient adherence workflows.
• Maintain patient records in EHR and pharmacy systems.
• Assist with claims adjudication, billing resolutions, and reimbursement activities.
