You will coordinate medication access, financial assistance, and payer communications in collaboration with pharmacists and care teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with short-term training in pharmacy basics and terminology.
• Pharmacy Technician National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required; active NM Board license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Meets and demonstrates competency in all functions and advanced specialty pharmacy responsibilities.
• Performs comprehensive benefit investigations, insurance eligibility verification, and coverage determinations for specialty medications.
• Coordinates prior authorizations, appeals, and payer communications with providers, clinics, and insurance plans to facilitate timely medication access.
• Assesses patients for manufacturer copay assistance, foundation grants, patient assistance programs, and other financial support resources.
• Conducts 340B eligibility verification and maintains compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates specialty medication onboarding activities including patient enrollment, intake, documentation, and prescription processing.
