University of Missouri Health Care's MU Health Care is seeking a clinical pharmacist to join the Mizzou Specialty Pharmacy team. You will manage specialty medications, counsel patients, and collaborate with clinics to ensure safe, effective, and cost-conscious therapy.

You will educate and support pharmacy staff, participate in outpatient workflows, and stay current with the latest pharmacotherapy literature while advancing patient care across complex disease states.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Missouri Pharmacist license in good standing.
• MT Services endorsement required within 12 months of hire.
• ASHP-accredited residency preferred; 3+ years of pharmacy experience; board certification helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assess therapeutic appropriateness of specialty medications using clinical data and patient interview.
• Provide patient-specific medication recommendations ensuring safety, efficacy and cost-effectiveness.
• Educate, support, and train pharmacy technicians, patient liaisons, students, pharmacists and residents.
• Serve as a resource for the pharmacy team, nursing and prescribers; analyze literature to support usage.
• Perform outpatient pharmacy workflow and other duties as assigned; complete department duties as outlined.
