University of Missouri Health Care is seeking a pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The role focuses on prioritizing medication orders, providing patient-specific recommendations, and mentoring students and technicians. A Missouri pharmacist license is required, with hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

• License to practice as a Pharmacist in Missouri.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• ASHP residency preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review and verify medication orders to ensure appropriateness using clinical information in the EMR; prioritize orders by acuity (STAT/NOW/routine).
• Provide patient-specific medication recommendations for safety, efficacy and cost effectiveness.
• Assist in education and training of pharmacy students, technicians, and residents.
• Serve as a resource for pharmacotherapy questions to the pharmacy team, nursing and prescribers.
• Compound and dispense Pharmaceutic preparations including IV solutions and topical products.
