Vital Care Infusion Services in Mississippi seeks a dedicated Specialty Pharmacist to oversee dispensing and clinical services within the specialty pharmacy. You will supervise pharmacy support staff, ensure compliance, and drive quality care for patients and providers.

The role focuses on evaluating physician orders, safe dispensing, and collaboration with manufacturers, marketers, and referral sources to grow the department while maintaining profitability.

Qualifications

• Active license in good standing with the state Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of specialty drug experience preferred.
• Experience managing pharmacy support staff preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with physicians, vendors, and referral sources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispensing and patient care activities in the specialty pharmacy.
• Develop plans to grow the specialty department while maintaining profitability.
