Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Pharmacy Coordinator to manage the preparation, scheduling, and distribution of sterile products, IV admixtures and chemotherapy regimens for home infusion and walk-in patients. You will ensure regulatory compliance and support with inventory control under a licensed pharmacist.

Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, maintaining quality and safety standards, and assisting with expense reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree BS or BA and eligible to pursue certification preferred.
• Associate's Degree with demonstrated skills in math calculation and eligible to pursue certification preferred.
• Strong computer skills with Excel, WordPerfect, SCS, AMS, Centricity/Epic and McKesson systems.
• Ability to work independently and accuracy in dosage calculations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Sterile Products/Chemotherapy regimen preparation, scheduling for home/specialty pharmacy and walk-in patients and coordinate shipping & delivery with outside vendors for home patients in Northeast MS, Northwest AL, & Southwest TN.
• Coordinate IV admixture and preparation of supplies for distribution to home and walk-in patients; schedule delivery.
• Maintain inventory of drugs and supplies; track infusion devices on-site and in the home.
• Assist with insurance verification, record keeping and other tasks as instructed by the specialty pharmacist.
