Optum CPS is seeking a full-time Specialty Pharmacist to join the Willis Knighton Health site in Shreveport, LA. The role requires dispensing, MTM, and collaboration with care teams to manage complex drugs; schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

PharmD or BS Pharmacy with Louisiana pharmacist license; ability to obtain Texas license within 60–90 days. EPIC/Cerner/Meditech and various dispensing systems experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree.
• Licensed to practice as a pharmacist in Louisiana.
• Ability to obtain dual Texas pharmacist license within 60–90 days.

Aufgaben

• Review, verify, and dispense medication orders for safety and accuracy.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including MTM and pharmacokinetic dosing.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize regimens.
• Monitor patient outcomes and prevent adverse drug events.
• Supervise and support technicians ensuring efficient workflow.
• Ensure regulatory compliance including Joint Commission and state/federal rules.
