UnitedHealth Group's CPS division, part of the Optum family, is recruiting a full-time Specialty Pharmacist to join Willis Knighton Health in Shreveport, LA. You will serve patients with complex diseases and collaborate with care teams to improve outcomes.

The role requires a PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree, LA licensure, and eligibility to obtain a Texas license within 60–90 days. You’ll supervise technicians, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in comprehensive patient care programs.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree.
• Licensed to practice in Louisiana.
• Ability to become dually licensed in Texas within 60–90 days.

Responsabilités

• Review, verify, and dispense medication orders for safety and accuracy.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services, including MTM and pharmacokinetic dosing.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize regimens for specialty patients.
• Monitor outcomes and medication safety, preventing adverse drug events.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring compliant workflow.
