Job summary

Brentwood Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. The role involves patient prep, radiographs, sterilization, and collaborative care across team members in a fast-paced setting.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and may hold a 1-year certificate; travel between offices is expected in some cases. We offer benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state certification or licensure as mandated.
• One-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred.
• Specialty dental assistants must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with patient care and dental procedures to deliver quality treatment.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist during procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments; clean operatory per infection control guidelines.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral photographs as directed by the clinician.
• Record patient information in the digital chart and manage documentation.
• Escort patients and coordinate with front desk for scheduling and consent processes.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming treatment environment.
• Travel between multiple offices as required; ensure timely mobility as needed.
