Brentwood Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support our Brentwood, CA team. You will assist the dentist, prepare patients, and ensure a high-quality, efficient dental experience.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED and state-mandated certification/licensure
• Certifications/licenses/registrations per state requirements (e.g. coronal polish, radiograph exposure, ultrasonic scaling)
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent education/experience preferred

Aufgaben

• The primary role of the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is to assist the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on optimal treatment while addressing individual needs and concerns
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist the doctors to enable efficient, quality dental care
• At the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate
• At the direction of the dentist, instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)
