Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years of sales experience in retail, broker, wholesale or distribution environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Analytical thinking and ability to leverage data in decision making.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted Specialty/Import sales strategies to achieve region and individual annual business goals.
• Identify customer needs and assemble product mixes that deliver solutions and meet objectives.
• Utilize data analytics to prioritize Specialty/Import opportunities.
• Qualify and support top prospect conversion to Sysco.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' offerings.
• Track activities and results using Salesforce; collaborate on opportunities and champion team selling.
• Leverage sampling to close sales and provide feedback on product and promotions.
• Develop relationships with customers, specialists, and sales team members.
• Support events and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
