PENN Entertainment in Joliet, IL is seeking a dedicated Food Runner/Expeditor to move completed dishes from kitchen to guests with speed and accuracy.

You will ensure proper plating, course timing, and guest satisfaction while collaborating with servers, bartenders, and cooks to deliver an elevated dining experience at our specialty restaurant venues.

Competenze

• Minimum 6 months recent experience as a food runner/expeditor in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong verbal communication and a guest-forward demeanor.
• Proven ability to read tickets/KDS, manage seat numbers, and balance multiple orders under time pressure.
• Working knowledge of menu items, common allergens, temperatures, and plating standards; ability to learn new menus quickly.
• Reliable teamwork and collaboration across Front- and Back-of-House; takes direction from leadership and expo.
• Neat, professional appearance in compliance with uniform and grooming standards.
• Basic POS familiarity preferred; bilingual skills a plus.

The Specialty Food Runner expedites and delivers completed menu items from the kitchen pass to guests quickly and accurately. This role ensures proper plate presentation, course timing, and order accuracy while maintaining a clean, organized expo window and collaborating closely with servers, bartenders, and cooks to provide an elevated dining experience in our specialty restaurant venues.
