Sunstate Equipment Co., LLC in the Dallas area is hiring for a full-time on-site technician. You will troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, generators, pumps and other heavy equipment, ensuring work meets manufacturer specs.

Hiring Immediately Pay dependent on Experience; PAID WEEKLY!
Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Overtime Eligible)
Pay Range: Pay dependent on Experience, dependent on experience and discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus
Location: DFW Area
Sunstate is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis.
Experience repairing and maintaining construction or specialty equipment, including generators, diesel pumps, power equipment, air compressors, HVAC, and heavy equipment .
Experience with Generac, Cummins, Kohler, Caterpillar , or similar equipment is a plus.
Military experience is welcomed when it includes relevant equipment maintenance or mechanical experience.
Candidates with backgrounds in diesel, oil and gas, oil field, automotive, construction, industrial maintenance, HVAC, military, or heavy equipment may be considered.
Ability to work independently in the field and make sound troubleshooting and repair decisions without constant supervision.
Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a clean MVR required.
Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory, including DFW, Central Texas, and Oklahoma , with occasional overnight travel.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to changing customer and business needs.
Basic computer skills for work orders, parts ordering, service documentation, and communication.
EPA 608 certification, DOT Medical Card, TWIC, generator training, or manufacturer-specific certifications are a plus.
Ability to inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment to manufacturer specifications.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, integrity, and a team-first mindset are essential.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to take ownership of a repair from diagnosis through completion.
