The role emphasizes collaboration with clinicians, supervision of technicians, and adherence to Joint Commission and other regulatory standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Competenze

• PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree from a ACPE accredited college.
• Active Florida pharmacist license in good standing.

Mansioni

• Review, verify, and dispense medication orders for safety and accuracy.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication therapy management and pharmacokinetic dosing/monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and care teams to optimize regimens for hospitalized patients.
• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding activities, ensuring USP and hospital standards.
• Monitor patient outcomes and medication safety; identify and prevent adverse events.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance (Joint Commission, state and federal).
