Job summary

Dedham Modern Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. You will prepare patients, assist with procedures, and maintain a clean, sterile operatory while coordinating with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow.

The role includes potential travel to multiple offices, meeting state requirements, and contributing to a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state-mandated training or licensure.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; travel to multiple offices as required.
• Background check and motor vehicle record review at time of hire.
• Travel between offices may be planned or unplanned.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians and PPE delivery to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Escort patients and coordinate with front/back office teams for smooth orthodontic scheduling.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentist during procedures.
• Maintain sterile operatory and disinfect instruments per guidelines.
• Record treatment notes in the digital chart and obtain consents.
