Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience, helping create a Patient for Life. You will prepare patients, assist with radiographs, manage instrument sterilization, and maintain a clean, efficient operatory while collaborating with the team.

The role involves assisting orthodontists and other specialists, participating in team meetings, and upholding company policies and infection control guidelines. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and required state training for certification/licensure.
• One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per state dental auxiliaries regulations.
• Assist clinicians during PPE to keep patients focused on treatment.
• Escort patients to the front desk and introduce team members.
• Coordinate with front/back office to ensure schedule runs smoothly.
• Maintain clean, sterile operatory and infection control standards.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Prepare tray setups and manage supply levels in each operatory.
