Job summary

PDS Health in Corona, CA is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE). You will assist with patient care, prepare radiographs, maintain sterile operatory, and help manage patient records to create a Patient for Life.

Expect teamwork with Front Office and specialists, adherence to safety guidelines, and proactive communication to keep schedules efficient across offices. Some travel between local offices may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state-required dental certification/licensure.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance may be required for travel.
• Must have reliable transportation to multiple offices per day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to deliver efficient care.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral photos as directed by the clinician.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and maintain a clean operatory.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk and introduce team members.
• Maintain stock and prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
• Communicate with front and back office to keep orthodontic schedules on track.
• Record patient information and treatment notes in the digital chart.
• Provide postoperative care instructions and patient education.
• Adhere to state regulations and company policies at all times.
