Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Specialty Healthcare Coordinator in Santa Rosa to partner with Specialists, educate patients on treatment options, and help secure financial commitment for care. You will support consultative, educational patient interactions and strive for a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) andPatients for Life (PFL).

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, handling financial options for patients, and ensuring compliant, smooth specialty days across teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Travel between offices may be required.
• Preferred: coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business.

Responsibilities

• Models company culture and standards per the We Believe Behavioral Framework.
• Gain a financial commitment from patients to start treatment.
• Achieve proficiency in the PDS system and assist patients in decision-making.
• Prioritize specialty coordination and act as SME for treatment plans with specialty care.
• Manage Specialists’ schedules to keep days full and productive with proper paperwork.
• Liaise between office and specialty teams; coordinate communications and follow-ups.
• Utilize all available financial options to fit patient budgets for treatment.
• Overcome objections to starting treatment before specialty appointments.
• Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations as needed.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings.
• Understand and report specialty goals and metrics.
• Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand.
• Become knowledgeable on the Mouth Body Connection and clinical care.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct per policies.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
