Job summary

Symbiotic Services in Conover, NC is seeking a detail-oriented Specialty CAD Technician to join a fast-paced production environment. You will create and maintain precise CAD drawings, develop markers and patterns, and optimize fabric utilization while supporting production quality and efficiency.

Requirements include experience with CAD software such as Formaris and Diamino; familiarity with LECTRA is a plus, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Create precise technical drawings using CAD software.
• Interpret sketches, diagrams, and verbal instructions to produce accurate CAD drawings.
• Develop and maintain high-quality markers and pattern layouts.
• Verify the accuracy of geometric shapes and part details within the CAD system.
• Lay out patterns and markers using company standards to maximize fabric utilization.
• Print full-size patterns using an Okidata printer.
• Maintain quality and accuracy throughout the drafting process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
