Job summary

Hickory Chair is seeking a skilled pattern cutter with CAD experience to support fabric cutting and marker setup. You will load materials, measure widths and repeats, and input data into CAD to guide the Lectra workflow.

Collaborate with Product Development on new styles, ensure ticket accuracy, and follow all safety policies while maintaining production standards in a day shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with CAD programs is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pull rolls of fabric off buggies and place on table.
• Assist CAD Cutter in loading and unloading fabric.
• Measure fabric width and repeat accurately.
• Enter measurements into CAD to set up markers.
• Assist in pulling COM fabric from bins.
• Cut fabric to standard based on production work tickets.
• Verify fabric matches the ticket for each job.
• Collaborate with Product Development on new styles and Lectra program entries.
• Support new product introductions and safety procedures.

Job Details: Job Location: Hickory Chair - Hickory, NC 28602, Position Type: Full Time, Job Shift: Day, Position Summary

Position Details

• Pull rolls fabric off of buggies and place on table.
• Assist CAD Cutter in loading and unloading fabric.
• Required to measure fabric (width and repeat).
• Must be able to input measurements into the CAD program in order to set up a marker for the CAD operator to use.
• Assist in pulling COM Fabric from the bins.
• Must be able to work off the production work ticket to cut fabric to standard.
• Must verify that fabric being cut matches the ticket.
• Work with Product Development on new styles and specs to put in the Lectra Program.
• Work with Product Development with new product introductions.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Position requires at least 1 year of experience with CAD program
• Ability to perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and computer aided design systems related to pattern designs
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, etc.
