Job summary

Bridgewater Bank in Minnesota is seeking a Specialty Accounts Specialist to join the Deposit Services Operations team. You will support client-facing specialty deposit account offerings including IRAs, fiduciary accounts, UTMA, POA, and related account documentation, processing transactions and reviews, and escalating complex issues when needed.

You will review IRA transactions, assist with year-end reporting, maintain accurate records, support 1031 Exchange and TIMBR services, and help improve

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail banking or deposit operations experience.
• Experience with specialty deposit accounts and IRAs preferred.
• Knowledge of deposit operations, client documentation, and controls.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process IRA transaction review, approval, death claims, and related maintenance.
• Complete annual IRA year-end and Form 5498 reporting tasks.
• Research IRA transaction issues and elevate complex matters.
• Monitor and respond to specialty account requests.
• Support specialty account document reviews for Trusts, Estates, UTMA, POA, and other accounts.
• Provide operational support for 1031 Exchange and TIMBR services.
• Review UTMA reports and assist with custodial account transitions.
• Support opening, maintenance, and closure of Wholesale accounts.
• Assist with testing and implementation of new/ enhanced products and procedures.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and client service.
• Assist with Deposit Services communications.
• Provide cross-functional backup support and other duties.
