Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• HSE diploma required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Title I assignments include prescribed educational requirements.
• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training by the District.
• Medication administration training as needed.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate interpersonal relations and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Ability to modify curriculum and implement behavior strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum to individual needs.
• Implement IEP accommodations and maintain progress records with licensed staff.
• Prepare materials, administer tests, and assist with attendance and paperwork.
• Provide technical physical care and help maintain a safe environment.
• Support online learning, technology access, and coursework completion.
• Monitor behavior and reinforce appropriate social interactions.
