Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is hiring a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe disabilities under licensed special education staff. You will assist with curriculum adaptations, monitor progress, and maintain achievement records in both classroom and remote-learning settings.

Duties include behavior support, material prep, and collaboration with IEP teams. Assignments include Autism, BD, Homebound/FAPE, and Transition Programming.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency diploma required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Title I assignments may require higher education or equivalent demonstrated knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities, adapting curriculum to individual needs (Daily).
• Implement IEP accommodations and keep progress/behavior records with licensed staff.
• Prepare materials and assist with tests, attendance, and related documentation.
• Support online learning activities and assist with technology access.
