Job summary

LUMA Energy seeks a data analytics professional to develop dashboards, reports, and insights guiding workforce planning and strategic decisions across operations and engineering. This role supports leadership with data-driven recommendations for grid modernization and customer-focused operations.

The candidate will collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Compensation, and HR partners, ensuring alignment with workforce strategy and hiring plans. Travel is required (10%).

Job Description:

Provides expertise in creating dashboards, reports, and workforce insights to support informed leader decision‑making across operations, engineering, grid modernization, customer experience, and corporate functions.

Interprets technical insights into clear, practical recommendations that help leaders balance day‑to‑day operational needs with long‑term strategic goals.

Monitors workforce strategy execution by tracking progress, identifying risks, and recommending adjustments to ensure alignment with LUMA's transformation goals.

Advises leaders to enhance understanding and adoption of the future skills required to deliver safe, reliable, customer‑focused operations within a modernized grid environment.

Coordinates with Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Compensation, and HR Business Partners to embed workforce strategy insights into hiring plans, skill‑development programs, and organizational design decisions.

Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.

Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.

Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.

Additional Job Description:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.

Preferred: Master's degree

Experience

• 5 years' experience with functional role responsibilities, and working with data collection, analysis and interpretation.
• 1-3 years of experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, labor market research, economic analysis or organizational development.
• Experience working with documents, policies, SOP creation and implementation.
• Experience leading or collaborating with small projects.
• Experience as matter‑expert and asset resource to provide support to internal/external clients.

Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role: Associate's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing a previous positions as Specialist role.

High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 10 years of experience performing similar functions described and at least 5 years of experience performing a previous Specialist role.
