Tarrant County College is seeking a Specialist, Video Support at South Campus to oversee daily operation, coordination, execution, and support of video- and audio-enabled events across the district.

The role directs video production, live streaming, and collaboration with campus departments; requires an associate degree and 3 years’ related experience; Adobe Premiere Pro certification is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Video Production preferred.
  • Adobe Certified Professional – Premiere Pro preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads all phases of video production for the College, including directing, editing, lighting, audio, and studio operations.
  • Manages live streaming and virtual events, including equipment setup and platform delivery (YouTube Live, Zoom, Teams).
  • Coordinates production team and collaborates with campus support departments for successful projects.
  • Provides guidance to faculty and staff on video production and live-streaming initiatives.
  • Recommends equipment, software, and hardware for television production facilities.

Compensation Details: Starting Pay - $55,700
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; Varies based ondepartment needs.
Remote Eligible: This position is not eligible for remotework

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for the daily operation, coordination,execution, and support of video- and audio-enabled events,meetings, and conferences throughout the Tarrant County CollegeDistrict (TCCD).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Performance Requirements
  • Leads all phases of video production for the College, includingdirecting, editing, lighting, audio, and field or studiooperations
  • Manages live streaming productions and virtual events, includingequipment setup, platform administration, and delivery throughvideo-on-demand systems, YouTube Live, Zoom, and MicrosoftTeams
  • Coordinates production team members and collaborates with campussupport departments to ensure successful project execution
  • Provides consultation and technical guidance to faculty, staff,and leadership on video production and live-streaminginitiatives
  • Recommends audio and video equipment, computer software andhardware, and materials for use in television productionfacilities
Service Excellence
  • Participates on behalf of the College in external communityorganizations and associations as assigned to support the essentialperformance requirements
  • Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, andfollows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of theworksite
  • Completes all required training and professional developmentsessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
  • Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of theCollege
Supervision
  • Works under the supervision of the assigned department leader

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree or 60 college credit hours and three (3)years’ working experience related to the Essential PerformanceRequirements; or any equivalent combination of education andwork-related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Video Production or related field
  • At least one (1) year’s professional working experience in ahigher education environment
  • Adobe Certified Professional – Premiere Pro
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of video streaming platforms, device software, and theconfiguration and interconnectivity of video production equipmentand systems used to support large-scale live streaming events
  • Knowledge of video and audio production hardware, equipment, andrelated technologies used in multimedia productionenvironments
  • Knowledge of basic and advanced editing concepts and the codecs,file formats, and compression standards used in the creation anddelivery of digital media content
  • Skilled in performing and prioritizing multiple tasks seamlessly,ensuring accurate and timely completion while exhibiting strongattention to detail and organization
  • Skilled in delivering high-quality customer service and buildingeffective interpersonal relationships, including strong listening,verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of ateam in collaborative environments, engaging with faculty, staff,and external stakeholders
  • Ability to coordinate assigned work, manage schedules andpriorities, and support campus and departmental operations
  • Ability to use computer applications and enterprise systems,including the Microsoft Office suite and the Microsoft 365platform
  • Ability to identify routine issues and elevate non-standardproblems using established procedures in a fast-paced workenvironment
  • Ability to consistently apply policies, procedures, andoperational guidelines to ensure accuracy, compliance, and qualityoutcomes
