Specialist, SAP Finance & Taxation Management
Position Overview

Collaborate with business stakeholders, Center of Excellence, and external consultants to support, enhance, and enable new solutions in SAP S/4HANA and associated bolt-ons to meet business needs in financial processes. Work closely with the Finance team to address specific challenges and incorporate solutions. Reporting to MicroVention IT Management and functioning under the leadership of the Center of Excellence (COE) in New Jersey.

Job duties:
  1. Provide support to Finance and Accounting teams for processes and solutions in SAP S/4HANA and integration with applications like OneSource, Kyriba, Ariba, and Blackline.
  2. Troubleshoot issues, guide users, and implement solutions aligned with TAH Global Process Design Template and MicroVention needs.
  3. Respond to Help Desk tickets for issue resolution.
  4. Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects through all project phases, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and training.
  5. Coordinate with process teams to resolve integration points and support end-to-end solutions.
  6. Manage ownership of the Global Process Design Template, configuration, test scripts, and related work for Finance, Accounting, and Tax processes, ensuring control over changes for localization or legal compliance.
  7. Support SAP COE in testing and validation for patches, upgrades, and new bolt-on integrations.
  8. Adhere to policies, standards, and baselines for consistency.
  9. Manage stakeholder relationships and escalations.
  10. Comply with applicable laws and regulations, quality systems, and demonstrate ethics and integrity at all organizational levels.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Salary Range:

$119,000 - $157,000 (may vary based on education, experience, and skills)

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least five (5) years of hands-on configuration experience in Finance and Accounting modules, focusing on:
    • G/L accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers
    • General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Intercompany transactions
    • Product Costing, Financial Supply Chain, Profitability Analysis, Bank Configuration
  • At least five (5) years of experience integrating FI with SD and MM modules, preferably in support/AMS environments with SLA management.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Suite and latest versions.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • HP ALM management knowledge.
  • Experience with ITSM, Solution Manager, and ChaRM.
  • Experience in the medical device industry is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn new skills, techniques, and processes.
