Job Title: SAP Specialist - Expert (REMOTE)

Job Description:

The client is seeking functional and technical support for the Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) functions in SAP environment, along with support for the SAP hosting services project. This environment serves over 5,000 users and includes instances of ECC 6.0, BI 7.0, Business Objects, CRM, SRM, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, NWCE, and PI.

FI/CO support includes but is not limited to: providing guidance in aligning the client business processes with SAP Best Practices, performing functional configuration and customization, maintaining system integrity, and component integration with SAP ECC and Enterprise Portal. Responsibilities also include writing functional and technical specifications, developing test plans, and performing system testing. The fiscal accountability and management of the client’s diverse activities require a robust business system capable of providing meaningful, accurate, and timely information for various needs.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Design, configure, test, and maintain SAP FI/CO modules in ECC 6.0 (AP, AR, FA, GL, SPL).
2. Design, configure, test, and maintain SAP FM modules and SAP Budget in ECC 6.0.
3. Understand integration points of FI/CO/FM modules with other SAP modules.
4. Provide production support to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
5. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and develop solutions.
6. Analyze the impact of changes on other business systems.
7. Develop documentation for system changes in accordance with change control policies.

Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years of experience with SAP Finance and Controlling configuration.
• 5+ years of experience with SAP Funds Management configuration.
• Ability to consult with clients and team members on solutions.
• Proficiency in interpreting and communicating information effectively.
• Experience in writing functional and technical specifications, testing, and training.
• Public sector experience is required.
• Highly desired: experience with GAAP and S/4 HANA Finance.
