We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Solution Advisor – SAP Logistics, with deep expertise in Sales and Distribution (SD) and/or Materials Management (MM) modules, preferably both.

In this role, your primary responsibility is pre-sales and serving as a trusted advisor to clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders by understanding business needs and translating them into innovative, value-driven SAP solutions. You’ll play a key role in supporting the pre-sales cycle, solution design, and customer engagement for logistics-focused implementations and digital transformation initiatives.

Essential Functions

Sales (estimated 60%)

1. Lead in pre-sales activities (RFP responses, Client Discovery, Demo Preparation and Delivery)
2. Lead in creating VLM exercises
3. Work with Product Team and Delivery Team to drive improvements in intellectual property, finance solutions, industry-specific solutions and delivery capabilities
4. Assist in design of Logistics enhancements and/or extensions to standard SAP using latest SAP technologies, experience with Business Technology Platform BTP a plus
5. Develop long-lasting, value-based customer relationships by providing unparalleled customer service and solutions acumen

Delivery (estimated 40%)

1. Act as liaison with functional and technical staff to find creative solutions to complex problems
2. Work with cross functional SAP team members on integrated designs
3. Logistics quality assurance on longer-term projects
4. Maintain documentation and updates; analyze lessons learned and share knowledge with team members
5. Provide functional and architectural guidance to teams designing leading edge solutions in the Finance space
6. Lead SAP Logistics consultant on high-priority shorter term projects and value assessments

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP experience in SD and/or MM, preferably both (minimum 3 projects as consultant, or 10 projects in presales role)
• Excellent communication and management consulting skills, ability to speak clear English, able to support shift work when required to deliver demos in US and European time zones
• Senior level expertise across SD sub-modules including Sales, Shipping and Transportation
• Senior level expertise across MM sub-modules including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation and Account determination, etc.
• Designed and implemented Logistics solutions that include integrations with other SAP modules and external systems, experience with Business Technology Platform BTP a plus
• Experience with S/4HANA Public Cloud and Fit-to-Standard approach or proven experience implementing SAP best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus.
