Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Company, LLC is seeking a Specialist Safety to promote a culture of safety across field locations. You will lead safety audits, coach teams, and conduct toolbox talks while ensuring PPE compliance and reporting non-conformities.

You will travel between sites to maintain regional safety presence, support incident investigations, and help update safety policies based on observations. 18+ and US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in field safety or utility safety oversight.
• Knowledge of federal and state safety regulations.
• Valid driver’s license; travel to various job sites.

Responsibilities

• Support root cause investigations of incidents.
• Ensure crews are in compliance with PPE and job-specific hazards.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of experience in field safety or utility safety oversight
• Knowledge of federal and state safety regulations
• Valid driver’s license; must travel to various job sites

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at individual level and in group
• Ability to maintain records in well-organized manner
• Must maintain a satisfactory driving record while in the position, as consistent safe driving behavior is essential when training or setting an example for others

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: Climb stairs, complete and maintain training, use keyboard/mouse, lift 10–25 pounds, stand, walk, work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles
• Occasionally: Lift 26–55 pounds, bend/stoop, perform repetitive hand movements, use portable ladders, work at heights, work in confined spaces, work with arms above shoulder level, operate heavy machinery
