Job summary

Sirio Nutrition (California) LLC seeks a Quality System and Customer Service Specialist to ensure GMP-aligned quality functions and drive continuous improvement. You will audit, investigate, and develop CAPAs while maintaining critical documentation across materials, facilities, and production cycles.

Responsibilities include SOP drafting, regulatory compliance support, and KPI reporting. The role requires experience in nutraceutical/pharmaceutical manufacturing and a strong focus on quality and

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years in nutritional/pharma manufacturing, or a college degree with 2+ years in the same field.
  • Experience applying GMP regulations and quality systems in manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to perform audits, investigations, and implement CAPAs while maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in internal quality audits and support inspections by certification bodies and regulators.
  • Conduct investigations and root cause analyses for audit findings and nonconformances.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor CAPAs with timely closure and verification.
  • Track CAPA status, quality metrics, and provide periodic management reports.
  • Draft and maintain SOPs and quality documentation; support risk assessments.
  • Provide in-house cGMP training and monitor quality KPIs for management reviews.

We seek out innovation across our entire business and pass that knowledge and expertise to our customers.As a Quality System and Customer Service Specialist, you will will ensure that all Quality related functions are compliant with GMP regulations and consistent with company policies and procedures in addition to conducting audits that insure continuous control over materials, facilities and products throughout the production cycle.How will you contribute:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential job functions and duties include, but are not limited to:Participate in internal quality audits and support the planning, coordination, and hosting of customer, certification body, and regulatory agency inspections to ensure compliance with applicable procedures and regulations.Conduct investigations and perform root cause analyses for audit findings, nonconformances and other quality issues.Develop, implement, and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), ensuring timely completion, effectiveness verification, and proper documentation.Track CAPA status and quality metrics, perform trend analyses, and provide periodic reports to management to support continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, GMP regulations, and industry quality standards.Support customer quality activities by preparing quality documentation, completing customer questionnaires, reviewing quality agreements, and responding to quality-related inquiries.Draft, review, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Procedures, work instructions, forms, and other quality documentation.Support compliance risk assessments including HACCP and Food Defense.Support in-house cGMP training and awareness programs for Quality Operation staff and other employees as needed.Monitor quality KPIs and prepare periodic reports to support Management Review and continuous improvement.Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner.Perform other related job duties related to the job, as assigned by management.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate, with 5 or more years of work experience in nutritional or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or equivalent; orCollege Degree or applicable training in an accredited college/university, with 2 or more years of work experience in nutritional or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or equivalent.Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job.Work Environment:May involve exposure to allergens such as Soy, Wheat, Fish, Shellfish, Milk, Egg, Tree Nuts and Sesame.Why work for Sirio Nutrition (California) LLC:The Company pays 100% of the premium for employee-only medical coverage.Dental, Vision, Life Insurance401(k)10 paid HolidaysPaid time offMore about us:As a valued strategic partner, Sirio Nutrition (California) LLC offers a comprehensive program of services, turnkey solutions, and client support that is unmatched in the industry.
