Job summary

Sirio Americas is seeking an experienced SAP Business One (SAP B1) Support Specialist to provide daily hands-on operational and functional support for our SAP B1 (HANA) ERP system.

The role focuses on a regulated batch-manufacturing environment and will be the primary on-site resource supporting warehouse staff, production planners, quality operators, procurement, sales and finance users across the US factory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years hands-on SAP B1 support in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with batch/lot traceability and cGMP/compliance is a plus.
• Proficient with hardware peripherals and barcode printers (PDA, Zebra, SATO).
• Strong collaboration across operations, QA, Finance and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Daily system support and troubleshooting for SAP B1 modules across Procure to Pay, Order to Cash and QC.
• Provide on-site and remote functional support for end-users in production, inventory, sales and finance.
• Configure local system settings, user roles, and alerts to prevent bottlenecks.
• Support 3-level Work Order hierarchy and routing across dosage forms.
• Resolve BOM management, revisions, and MRP planning issues.
• Oversee WMS execution and PDA peripherals (Honeywell, Urovo).
• Manage inventory transfers and transit bins between buildings.
• Support cycle counting and resolve variances.
• Ensure GxP compliance, electronic records/signatures and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Assist Finance with standard costing configurations and MDG data synchronization.

Sirio Americas has an immediate opportunity for an experienced SAP Business One (SAP B1) Support Specialist to provide daily hands‑on operational and functional support for our SAP B1 (HANA) ERP system.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Business One within a regulated batch‑manufacturing environment. This role will serve as the primary on‑site technical and functional resource supporting warehouse staff, production planners, quality operators, procurement, sales and finance users across our US factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily System Support & Troubleshooting
• Provide immediate on‑floor and remote functional support for end‑users across core SAP B1 modules, including Procurement, Sales, Production, Inventory & WMS, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Quality Control.
• Troubleshoot daily system transaction issues related to Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes.
• Configure and maintain local system settings, user authorizations, and standard/custom alerts to prevent operational bottlenecks.
• Manufacturing & Inventory Execution Support
• Support the 3‑level Work Order hierarchy (Finished Goods, Bulk, and Semi‑Finished Goods/Intermediates) and standard routing sequences across diverse dosage forms like Soft gels, Gummies, and Unit Dose.
• Resolve issues related to Bill of Materials (BOM) management, BOM revisions, routing versions, scrap/loss factors, and MRP planning runs.
• Oversee WMS execution, troubleshooting Honeywell and UROVO PDA handheld scanning devices.
• Manage inventory transfers and virtual/transit bins used to track stock movements between buildings.
• Directly support the physical cycle counting process and resolve variances via designated holding or discrepancy bins.
• Quality Control (QC) & Regulatory GxP Compliance
• Ensure the system strictly maintains cGMP and FDA regulations (21 CFR Parts 210/211 and 21 CFR Part 11 ERES).
• Support system‑enforced "hard gates" that prevent unreleased or locked material from being issued to production or shipped to customers.
• Maintain the Lot and Batch Number hierarchy. Validate lot‑level QC Results (Pending/Pass/Fail) and individual batch statuses (Released, Restricted, Locked) across the system.
• Troubleshoot barcode and label printing setups (Zebra and SATO printers) to ensure inventory labels carry mandatory batch information and QR codes.
• Maintain strict compliance with electronic signature and audit trail requirements for all GxP‑critical actions.
• Finance & Master Data Alignment
• Assist the Finance team with standard costing configurations, moving average valuations, variance allocations, and production order technical closures.
• Support the Master Data Governance (MDG) flow, ensuring clean synchronization of item master data and business partner profiles between MS Dynamics/CRM, OA, SRM, and SAP B1.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• ERP Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands‑on experience supporting SAP Business One (preferably version 10.0 on HANA).
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment utilizing batch/lot traceability (e.g., dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, food/beverage, or chemical processing).
• Production Logic: Solid understanding of BOM structures, routing steps (Weighing, Blending, Encapsulation, Packaging), and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Hardware / Infrastructure Familiarity: Experience troubleshooting warehouse peripheral hardware, including PDA scanning devices (Honeywell, Urovo) and barcode label printers (Zebra, Sato).
• Regulatory / Compliance Knowledge: Direct exposure to a validated GxP environment. Understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV), ALCOA data integrity principles, and electronic records/signatures (21 CFR Part 11) is highly preferred.
• Costing Models: Familiarity with inventory valuation methods (Standard Costing vs. Moving Average Costing).
• Communication: Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge communication between local operations, Quality, Finance, and regional IT teams (including China HQ)
