This challenging, intermediate-level position offers the successful candidate opportunities for career growth while performing the following duties:

  1. Coordinate and oversee assigned products/projects, including the implementation of new, additional, and/or unique manufacturing product lines and production programs.
  2. Responsible for cost estimate development, schedule development, participation in contract definition interpretation and negotiation, facility, equipment, tooling and manpower requirements.
  3. Coordinate major changes to product lines/projects and manufacturing programs to ensure technical, cost and schedule performance requirements are met.
  4. Function as the liaison between Division Program management, Production, Quality, Finance, Planning, Supply Chain and customers to ensure successful product line/project plan execution.
  5. Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to implement innovative technologies and processes and coordinate facility, processes, and resources necessary to meet specific project or program requirements.
  6. Monitor, when applicable, cost and schedule performance in accordance with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  7. Participate in the analysis of plant capabilities and development of new business prospects.

Position Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Business or other relevant field of study required.
  2. 3-5 years relevant experience; extensive experience with product and processes may be considered in lieu.
  3. Must be at least 18 years of age and a US Citizen.
  4. Must be able to obtain / maintain DOD Secret security clearance.
  5. Project management experience preferred, but not required.
  6. Demonstrated proficiency in communication skills (written, verbal, computer) required.
  7. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight preferred.
  8. Excellent time and organization management skills desired.
  9. Ability to work collaboratively in a teaming environment to support customer and manufacturing requirements.

Working Conditions & Environment:

  1. This position requires working in both office and manufacturing floor environments.
  2. Requires ability to work in and around dust, fumes, oils, mists, adhesives and in areas with a high noise volume.
  3. Use of ladders and stairs.
  4. Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  5. Working in both hot and cold environments.
