Job summary

Quirch Foods, LLC in Florida is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

The role requires supervising a payroll team, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and coordinating with HR and Finance on classifications and funding. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of payroll management experience are required, with proficiency in ADP or Workday; CPP is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years payroll management experience, preferably in a multi-state or large-scale organization.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and wage & hour laws.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire payroll process for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations.
  • Process payroll-related changes, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and benefit deductions.
  • Lead and manage the payroll team, providing training and support as needed.
  • Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy in earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure proper employee classification and payroll funding.
  • Administer payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with IRS and state tax agencies.
  • Handle payroll audits, reporting, and year-end processing, including W‑2 and 1099 preparation.
  • Manage relationships with third‑party payroll providers and vendors.
  • Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly.

  • Certifications: CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation is a plus.
