Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Specialist Logistics in Naperville, IL. This role involves managing customer orders, coordinating dispatch, and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in logistics and strong communication skills.

Compensation starts at $22.00–$24.00 per hour with a weekly paycheck and access to Adecco Aspire Academy for upskilling. Shift is Mon–Fri 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with comprehensive benefit options available through Adecco.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of logistics, transportation, dispatch, or supply chain experience.
• General knowledge of transportation operations, freight movement, routing, and shipment tracking.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare reports, follow detailed instructions, solve problems efficiently, and work in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter and manage customer orders, maintain customer profiles, and coordinate load route, dispatching, and scheduling activities.
• Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery, ensuring loads arrive on time and in good condition while providing status updates to customers and account managers.
• Communicate with drivers, conduct check calls, provide routing instructions, and resolve delivery-related issues.
• Investigate shortages, damages, and overages, maintain accurate documentation, and validate load information for accounting purposes.

Pay Details:

$22.00 to $24.00 per hour
