RXO Inc. in Canton, Michigan is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support shipping and receiving, verify orders, and maintain warehouse accuracy. You will count inventory, mark items, and help move merchandise to shipping or driver storage areas in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and distributing orders.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
• Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials; distribute items to shipping team or to designated route driver storage area.
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic; wear the proper safety equipment and adhere to all safety procedures and programs.
• Mark materials with identifying information using the appropriate methods.
• Assist with the counting of physical inventory.
• Perform facility maintenance duties as needed, such as sweeping, dusting and mopping.
