The Specialist III, Library Joint Use assists students, faculty and the general public in obtaining resources. Circulates library materials and maintains patron records using automated systems. May perform standard and some advanced administrative duties, including but not limited to receiving and logging information, making copies, answering routine questions and inquires, providing information and directions, and providing a customer friendly environment. Interprets and enforces established library policies and procedures.
The work requires physical exertion, such as long periods of standing; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or recurring lifting of moderately heavy items. The work may require specific, but not common, physical characteristics and abilities, such as above average agility and dexterity.
Hiring salary range is $33,540 - $38,571.
Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education.
