Lone Star College in Conroe, TX is seeking a Part-time Assistant II, Library to support students and staff with library circulating and reserve resources. You will assist patrons in person, by phone and email, and help with daily operations under supervision.
Responsibilities include using Horizon and PeopleSoft for circulation, enforcing policies, handling IDs and library cards, and guiding patrons on using laptops, printers, and AV equipment.

Under general supervision the Part Time Assistant II, Library, assists students, faculty and the general public in obtaining library circulating and reserve resources. Basic duties may includereceiving, logging and interpreting information, sorting andprocessing library materials deliveries, answering non routinequestions and inquires, providing information and directions andproviding a customer friendly environment. Activities are routinebut may involve non-routine requests or specializedinformation.
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably todo the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
Hourly Pay Rate is $15.60
