Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Specialist II, Learning and Development to perform routine onboarding for the Strategic Sales team and to deliver comprehensive training programs that enhance the skills and performance of our sales force. You will lead dynamic training sessions, maintain records, and measure outcomes to continuously improve effectiveness.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree, at least three years of experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum three years of experience.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • CRM software experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of fuel and trucking industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of company products and offerings.
  • Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own area.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate onboarding and training of new Sales representatives.
  • Deliver comprehensive training programs and workshops for the Strategic Sales team.
  • Maintain training records for team members.
  • Collect feedback and measure impact on sales performance.
  • Follow the training curriculum as assigned.

Job Description

The Specialist II, Learning and Development will perform routine new hire onboarding in support of the Strategic Sales team. This role will also play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and performance of our sales team through the delivery of comprehensive training programs.

In this role you will:

  • Facilitate the training of new Sales representatives on sales techniques, standard operating procedures, sales specific technology, and customer service best practices.
  • Conduct dynamic and interactive training sessions, workshops, and role-playing exercises that foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and skill application.
  • Maintain team member training records
  • Collect feedback from participants and management to continuously improve training programs and measure their impact on sales performance.
  • Follow the training curriculum as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum three years experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Intermediate Customer Relation Management (CRM) software preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of fuel and trucking industry preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of company products and offerings
  • Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own area
  • Applies understanding of business drivers
  • Responsible for providing guidance for colleagues with less experience
  • Solves problems in straightforward situations
  • This position requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
