Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking an Employee Relations professional to handle routine activities related to employee relations, policy and compliance. The role involves investigating complaints, reviewing background and MVR results, and escalating issues as needed.

You will collaborate with HR business partners and leadership to resolve employee and guest concerns, and you will compile document requests related to regulatory matters and potential litigation threats.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR management, employee relations or related field preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience in HR related field preferred.
  • General knowledge of all company policies.
  • General knowledge of federal and state labor laws.

Responsibilities

  • Assign, monitor and investigate team member and guest complaints; escalate when necessary.

Job Description

The purpose of this job is to perform routine activities related to employee relations, policy and compliance matters.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management, employee relations or related field preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in human resources related field preferred
  • General knowledge of all company policies
  • General knowledge of federal and state laws concerning labor relations
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to remain objective, calm, tactful and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with different levels of the organization to negotiate, problem solve, complete projects and influence decision making
  • Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and within teams in order to establish and meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
  • Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior including but not limited to confidentiality
  • General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends and odd hours as needed
  • This position requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
