Job summary

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Other Duties As Assigned)

• General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations,
• safety requirements and departmental procedures
• Direct department personnel to ensure orders are produced in a timely fashion and adhere to safety
• and quality standards in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
• Must be able to work independently and collaborate with others to ensure production schedule and
• quality standards are met, and report issues to supervisor
• Operate and set up departmental equipment
• Perform various data collection functions in PeopleSoft (ERP)
• Maximize yield and reduce scrap
• Report department metrics
• Verify order information and produce part(s) with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or
• shape within quality tolerance to meet customer specifications while meeting productivity
• standards.

Education & Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Machine operation or basic troubleshooting
• Experience working in multiple areas
• Basic mechanical aptitude

Skills & Abilities

• Must be fluent in the English language, both written and spoken
• Must be able to use simple math and use basic hand‑held measuring tools
• Must be computer literate; Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP systems
