Job summary

Atlas Molded Products seeks a production-oriented individual to operate and set up departmental equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will read a tape measure, ensure orders meet safety and quality standards, and report performance metrics throughout the shift.

The role requires basic math, English fluency, and familiarity with ERP systems; prior manufacturing experience and basic mechanical aptitude are preferred to support multiple production areas.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
• Direct department personnel to ensure orders are produced in a timely fashion and adhere to safety and quality standards in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Must be able to work independently and collaborate with others to ensure production schedule and quality standards are met, and report issues to supervisor.
• Operate and set up departmental equipment.
• Perform various data collection functions in PeopleSoft (ERP).
• Maximize yield and reduce scrap.
• Report department metrics.
• Verify order information and produce part(s) with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or shape within quality tolerance to meet customer specifications while meeting productivity standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties as assigned)

• Direct department personnel to ensure orders are produced in a timely fashion and adhere to safety and quality standards in accordance with company policies and applicable laws

• Must be fluent in the English language, both written and spoken
• Must be able to use simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools
• Must be computer literate; Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP systems
