Job summary

Nature's Grace and Wellness, LLC is seeking a Cultivation Technician to join our Illinois greenhouse team. Shift is 7am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday with alternating 5th weekend, focusing on plant maintenance, health monitoring, and adherence to SOPs.

You will work indoors/outdoors, lift up to 50 lbs, follow PPE protocols, support production schedules, and learn BioTrack seed-to-sale systems. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401K, and room for career growth; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Greenhouse experience is a plus but not required.
• Willing to work longer hours including weekends/holidays.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all seasonal conditions.
• Lift over 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Must pass a Federal background check.
• Must wear all required PPE.
• Teamwork and communication are essential.

Cultivation Technician

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Friday (Alternating 5th Weekend)

Responsibilities And Duties

• Perform plant maintenance using standard operating procedures within the vegetation and flowering rooms
• Monitor plant health
• Must follow all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines; including the safe and proper operation of any/all applicable machinery, instrumentation, and equipment.
• Work as a team to meet production schedules.
• Good communication skills with co-workers and management.
• Practice good housekeeping habits throughout the plant with focus and personal contributions towards a clean and organized assigned work area at the end of the assigned shift. Including, mopping floors, sanitizing work spaces and sweeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records of daily production and communicate those records to management.
• Understand and apply the use of BioTrack, our seed to sale tracking program.
• Possess a willingness to work hard and learn every day.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Greenhouse experience a plus, but not required
• Working longer hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
• Working indoors as well as outdoors during all seasonal temperatures and weather conditions.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs., ability to perform tasks sitting, standing, stretching, walking, bending, reaching and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to work as a team player
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a Federal background check
• Must be willing and able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
