Job summary

Nature's Grace and Wellness is seeking a Harvest and Takedown lead in the Cultivation department. This role supports the Cultivation Director and managers to ensure production timelines, quality, and efficiency are met.

The position requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays. Compliance with safety, PPE, and record-keeping is essential.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years minimum supervisory experience.
  • Ability to obtain any necessary licenses.
  • Able to use inventory tracking software to track plant movement.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Strong work ethic and effective time management.
  • Able to identify and solve problems in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Perform plant maintenance per SOPs (de-leafing, pruning, harvesting, etc.).
  • Monitor plant health and production timelines.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and PPE usage.
  • Work as a team to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate daily production records and report to management.
  • Understand and apply BioTrack seed-to-sale tracking.
  • Demonstrate willingness to work hard and learn daily.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties
Specialist 1 Pay - $15.00/hr plus $1.00/hr premium
Job Overview

The Harvest and Takedown lead will work alongside the Cultivation Director and Cultivation managers to manage daily operations and production tasks. They will ensure production timelines are being met and tasks are completed with a high degree of consistency, quality and efficiency.

  • Perform plant maintenance using standard operating procedures, including but not limited to de-leafing, removing trellis, pruning, harvesting, "shucking" dried plant material for processing and removing expired plant material.
  • Monitor plant health
  • Must follow all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines; including the safe and proper operation of any/all applicable machinery, instrumentation, and equipment.
  • Work as a team to meet production schedules.
  • Good communication skills with co-workers and management.
  • Practice good housekeeping habits throughout the plant with focus and personal contributions towards a clean and organized assigned work area at the end of the assigned shift. Including, mopping floors, sanitizing work spaces and sweeping.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily production and communicate those records to management.
  • Understand and apply the use of BioTrack, our seed to sale tracking program.
  • Possess a willingness to work hard and learn every day.

Requirements
  • Greenhouse experience a plus, but not required
  • Working longer hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
  • Working indoors as well as outdoors during all seasonal temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs., ability to perform tasks sitting, standing for long periods, stretching, walking, bending, reaching and perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to wear proper PPE as needed
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to pass a Federal background check
