Job summary

Nature's Grace & Wellness is seeking a Plant Maintenance Associate to support greenhouse operations in Kentucky. You will follow SOPs, monitor plant health, and work as part of a team to meet production schedules.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, indoor/outdoor work across seasons, and compliance with PPE, safety and BioTrack records. We offer benefits including health, vision, dental and 401K.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Greenhouse experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to work longer hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Must be a team player and pass a background check.
• Must wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform plant maintenance using SOPs within vegetation and flowering rooms.

• Perform plant maintenance using standard operating procedures within the vegetation and flowering rooms


• Monitor plant health


• Must follow all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines; including the safe and proper operation of any/all applicable machinery, instrumentation, and equipment.


• Work as a team to meet production schedules.


• Good communication skills with co-workers and management.


• Practice good housekeeping habits throughout the plant with focus and personal contributions towards a clean and organized assigned work area at the end of the assigned shift. Including, mopping floors, sanitizing work spaces and sweeping.


• Other duties as assigned.


• Maintain accurate records of daily production and communicate those records to management.


• Understand and apply the use of BioTrack, our seed to sale tracking program.


• Possess a willingness to work hard and learn every day.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Greenhouse experience a plus, but not required


• Working longer hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.


• Working indoors as well as outdoors during all seasonal temperatures and weather conditions.


• Ability to lift over 50 lbs., ability to perform tasks sitting, standing, stretching, walking, bending, reaching and perform repetitive motions


• Ability to work as a team player


• At least 21 years of age


• Ability to pass a Federal background check


• Must be willing and able to wear all required PPE
