Job Description
  • Serves as owner of HR policies, procedures, and standards, leading their drafting, revision, and interpretation, and reviews other departments’ policies for applicability and consistency across the employee population.

  • Administers recordkeeping and retention schedules for HR compliance documentation in accordance with federal, state, and company requirements, ensuring well‑maintained, audit‑ready records that strengthen regulatory compliance.
  • Manages the intake, tracking, and resolution of legal claims in partnership with Legal and HR leadership, ensuring timely, consistent case documentation while identifying trends that inform risk‑mitigation strategies and process improvements.
  • Supports EEO‑1, VETS‑4212, and Affimative Action Plan reporting by compiling, auditing, and validating workforce data for accuracy, resulting in timely, error‑free submissions and improved compliance reporting.
  • Delivers training on compliance topics and HR best practices to reduce exposure to legally protected employment issues, and builds the supporting presentations and materials needed to properly implement new or revised policies and to reduce impact on legally protected employment issues.
  • Evaluates and recommends enhancements to HR technology and workflow tools (e.g., Workday, SharePoint) to strengthen compliance tracking, reporting, and audit‑readiness.
  • Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
  • Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.
  • Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.
