Job summary

Job description

Specialist, Computer Elementary

This position is for approximately 13 hours per week.

Position Overview

The Specialist, Computer Elementary instructs students in computer literacy, coding, and technology skills while supporting the integration of technology into classroom instruction. This position maintains computer lab equipment and supports technology use throughout the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide weekly technology instruction to elementary students in grades K–6.
  • Teach computer literacy, keyboarding, and introductory coding skills.
  • Implement district-approved instructional technology curriculum.
  • Maintain computer hardware, software, and related technology equipment.
  • Manage computer lab supplies, software, and technology resources.
  • Assist with school testing by supporting technology requirements for assessments.
  • Monitor students to maintain a safe learning environment.
  • Maintain technology inventory, including Chromebooks and related equipment.
  • Prepare lesson plans and program documentation.
